It's very easy to travel around Verona as it's quite a small city, so if your visiting the Arena Di Verona, Basilica di San Zeno or the Natural History Museum, so whether your travelling by car, bus, train or bicycle it shouldn't take to long to get there.

By Car

The historic city of Verona is a small compact city and is very easy to get around by a car, as for parking there are several designated car parks where you have to buy a pre-paid ticket that is valid for the unattended market parking places, you can buy parking tickets from local shops. Disabled parking spaces are painted yellow, you must have authorized documentation displayed to be able to use disabled parking spaces, if you looking to rent a car then car rental companies can be found near the railway station and at the International airport.

By Bus.

It's easy to get around Verona by bus, the orange coloured bus's provide ultimate comfort for travelling around Verona, tickets can be bought in tobacconists, bars, newsagents and can be used on different buses for 60 minutes after the first stamp of validation.

You can also buy bus passes that allow you to travel on any of the city buses, children below the age of four don't have to pay to travel by bus, tourists can learn about Verona's many places of interest by catching the Romeo bus, each bus is equipped with headphones that gives you tourist information in English, Italian, German or French.

Cycling around Verona.

cycling is one of the best ways take in some of Verona's best sights, though many cyclists like to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and cycle through some of Italy's most picturesque countryside, taking you past rustic towns, spectacular churches and vineyards. Lake Garda is an ideal cycle route, with it's tranquil shores and natural beauty and if you get tired or hungry along the way then there are plenty of roadside cafes where you can stop at for a break.
